It is one of the virtual community and the players can create their character and type command when they are playing the game. The MUD and the MMORPG are the virtual community. One of the Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG), The world of Warcarft, it is modern graphics- based. It is one of the changes for the MUD.
Turkle mentions different examples that people is wallowing in the MUD. So, we will give some examples when people wallow in playing the online game from the newspaper article, such as they didn’t having bathing for three days.
We agree that Turkle's point of view. We cannot wallow in the virtual community. Real life experience is more important than the virtual community.

I agreed with Sherry Turkle’s point of view as many people indulged in virtual communities. She has mentioned some examples which are so significant. Although people may not use MUD nowadays, we can still find out the same cases on different technologies such as online game.
But at the same time, we cannot deny the advantages of virtual communities. Internet is a convenient tool for us to communicate with others, receiving information and widen our horizons at a certain extent. For example, in forum, when we logged in, we can see other members' create the post sharing their experience and photos of their trip. We can also communicate with our friends from facebook and searched our schoolmates which lost contact for a long time. However, virtual communities still cannot replace our real life experience and communication as Turkle pointed out those negative comments on virtual communities is really happened in our society. So, we should not indulge in virtual communities whereas face-to-face communication is still very important to our lives.
Nowadays, Internet becomes a crucial part in our daily life. In the MTR station, you can see that many people using their I-phone to connect to the Internet. If one day I can’t connect to the Internet, it seems a nightmare to me, as we can nearly do all the things by using it. For example, we can get the information we want. We can read the newspaper online, bid the things we like on Ebay or Yahoo auction without going outside. From the forum of the housing estate, I can know what is happening in other district. That’s why people spend so much time into the virtual world.
I agree that we should not wallow in the virtual community as addicting to it can waste much time and it may affect our social life. Although we can meet new friends on the Internet, we cannot know their background or real identity. As a result, always staying the virtual community is unhealthy and we should go out to widen our sight, or one day we may regret.
